Few legendary figures have inspired so many artists as Faust. In particular, Goethe's work has proved a lasting source of inspiration: it is not simply a cornerstone of literature, but prompts all generations of musicians and composers to elaborate their personal reflections. Elemér Balázs Jr. originally conceived the music as a contemporary piano quintet, in which jazz and improvisation play a major role alongside classical elements. The composer has invited his distinguished musician friends to the concert, who are performing together for the first time. A Rippl-Rónai Művészeti Intézet harmadéves színész osztálya Csehov A három lány című darabján keresztül saját magáról kezd el beszélni: vágyakról, halogatásról és arról az ismerős érzésről, hogy „majd egyszer” minden jobb lesz. A Hamvai Kornél-féle fordítás friss, mai hangon szólal meg, Kelemen József rendezésében pedig a csehovi világ közel kerül a jelenhez. A történet három fiatal nő körül forog, akik egy vidéki városban élnek, és folyamatosan arról álmodnak, hogy visszajutnak Moszkvába – egy jobb, izgalmasabb élet reményében. Az előadás erősen épít a humorra és az öniróniára: a szereplők sokszor nevetségesek, miközben nagyon is pontosan rájuk ismerünk – és magunkra. A végére nem Moszkva kerül közelebb – hanem az a felismerés, hogy az élet nem kezdődik el magától.
